Most of the Qualified Intermediaries who actively accommodate and facilitate tax deferred exchanges do so for a modest fee. While the fees in thr east tend to be a little bit higher, generally deferred exchanges cost around $1000 and reverse exchange start around $7500. This is of course due to the extra logistics and the costs associated with creating a new LLC or hold title to one of the involved properties.
